Description
Drop anchor on January 16th, 2026, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM for a refreshing culinary experience at the Texas Maritime Museum. In this chef-led, hands-on class, students will learn to prepare a vibrant gazpacho, celebrating fresh ingredients and balanced flavors inspired by our award-winning cookbook, MariThyme Treasures. Participants will explore techniques such as proper knife skills for fresh produce, flavor layering, seasoning seafood, and crafting house-made croutons for the perfect finishing touch. The dish is paired with seasoned shrimp and enjoyed on site with a complimentary glass of wine. Held in the Texas Maritime Museum Education Room, this intimate class offers plenty of personal instruction. Class size is limited and expected to fill quickly. All ingredients and cooking gear are provided. Just bring your appetite and a readiness to learn. This event is designed for adults, ages 21+. Cost is $65 per participant.
