Winter Texan Appreciation Day

Description

Winter Texan Appreciation Day is an event at
which our winter guests can discover the services
and products available in Rockport-Fulton during their stay.  

This year the event will be combined with the America 250
nationwide, multi-year celebration of the 250th anniversary of the
United States, culminating on July 4, 2026. It is a nonpartisan
initiative led by the U.S. Semiquincentennial Commission to
commemorate the nation's past, celebrate its diversity, and
inspire reflection on its future through educational programs,
community events, and other commemorative activities. 
The celebration involves federal, state, and local governments,
as well as private sector, non-profit organizations, and individual citizens. 

• Timeline: The celebration began in 2025 and will run through December 2026.

• Purpose: To honor America's history, engage the public, and foster a renewed commitment to the nation's founding ideals.
