Description

Rockport Kite Festival - April 13, 2024, 10AM-10PM. The 3rd Annual Rockport Kite Festival celebrates the art and joy of kite flying in a free, fun, family-friendly environment. Attendees will marvel at the sky filled with kites of all shapes, sizes, and colors, ranging from intricate artistic creations to giant whimsical characters that dance in the wind. We encourage participation from both seasoned kite flyers and beginners, offering kite-making workshops, flying demonstrations, and a stunt kite flying team from Austin. Alongside the kite-flying activities, the festival will feature live music and food vendors! Giant kite displays provided by the Surfside Flyers Kite Club and the Coastal Bend Flying Circus. Austin End of the Line Stunt Kite team will be here to provide professional kite flying entertainment.
