Set a course for classic technique and rich, savory flavor on Saturday, February 28th, 2026, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, in this chef-led cooking class at the Texas Maritime Museum. Participants will prepare beef tenderloin medallions, learning essential skills for handling and cooking premium cuts of meat. This class highlights techniques such as proper searing, temperature control, sauce-building with portabella mushrooms, and preparing a perfectly balanced rice pilaf. The finished dish is enjoyed together with a complimentary glass of wine, making for a relaxed and rewarding evening. With limited space in the Museum Education Room, this class is ideal for those looking to refine their skills, or continue their culinary journey by enrolling in multiple classes from the series. All ingredients and equipment are included. This event is designed for adults, ages 21+. Cost is $65 per participant.
