Birthday!!! Founder's Day, Tours, Stroll, Exhibits, County Fair, Monument
Dedication and much more! June 12 through 20th, 2021. Lots of fun!!!
More than 20 entities from across the country are getting involved in the planning of Sesquicentennial Celebration. Although specific dates and times are yet to be determined, events such as a parade, fireworks, and an old fashioned county fair are in the works. Other events include: a Founders’ Day Breakfast, Market Days, Exhibits within community attractions such as the Texas Maritime Museum, Rockport Center for the Arts, Rockport-Fulton Chamber of Commerce, Fulton Mansion, History Center for Aransas County and the Rockport Cultural Arts District. There will be a Stroll through Rockport to view more than 50 Historical Markers, actors portraying vignettes of life on the coastal bend in days gone by and a tour of local cemeteries discovering the names of generations of Aransas County ancestors and founders.
