Lights, Camera, Action: Leading Ladies "Women in Business" presented by Christus Spohn Health System

The Leading Ladies "Women in Business" event is part of the Leading Ladies program series and networking platform dedicated to inspiring, empowering, and connecting women in our community. With a Lights, Camera, Action theme, this special event celebrates the women who step into the spotlight and make an impact through their careers, businesses, and leadership.

This year’s featured speaker is Veronica “Riki” Rushing, In addition to her work in film, Rushing is a investor/producer of the **2024 Tony Award-winning Broadway musical **The Outsiders. She is also invested in the traveling touring arm of the Outsiders play across America. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Austin Film Society, and hosted the Rockport Film Festival festivities in the past. She will helping out with RFF’s 25 anniversary this year in November.

Her passion for storytelling, creativity, leadership, and championing the arts makes her the perfect featured speaker for this year's "Lights, Camera, Action!" celebration.
