DESCRIPTION:Elected officials\, business owners and managers\, interested individuals\, community leaders\, executive directors and others from Rockport and Fulton take government relations seriously and will convene in Austin Feb. 22 and 23 to get a preview of the 85th Texas Legislature in action.\n\n \n\nThe Rockport-Fulton Chamber of Commerce is encouraging interested persons to sign up now. Government advocacy which effects our community\, businesses and local government\, is an important component of our Chamber of Commerce Program of Work.\n\n \n\nAransas County Day is an opportunity for local representatives to board a bus and go together as a group to meet legislators\, staff members and agency heads from across the state. The The Rockport-Fulton High School Band will perform in the Capitol Extension Rotunda from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday\, Feb. 26. Students from each campus will be honored by state officials.
