Candidates Panel & Issues Forum
Leadership Aransas County (LAC) Alumni Association will host a Candidates Panel & Issues Forum for the upcoming City of Rockport General Election and the Bond Election for Aransas County.
Join us for the Candidates Panel & Issues Forum and get answers to your questions. Each candidate will have a 3 minute opening statement. Audience will ask a question to a specific candidate and candidate will have 1 minute to respond to each question. With the event being Facebook Live, questions will be collected from the comment feed during a 30-minute time frame. Pre-written questions will be collected on the day of the forum until 2 p.m. at the Chamber. Pre-written questions can be submitted by walk-ins at the Chamber or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Tune in at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, October 5 on the Facebook pages @RockportFultonChamber or @RockportPilot for the live stream or watch it at your leisure in the feeds of those pages. A ZOOM link is available by emailing email@example.com prior to 2 pm Monday.

Paulo Salazar will moderate the event.
Paulo Salazar joined the KRIS 6 News Team to anchor the morning newscasts and cover feature stories for KRIS 6. He joined us from Tallahassee's ABC affiliate WTXL ABC 27 where he serves as the stations Primary Evening Anchor. He spent 6 years in Columbus. Mississippi during his time with WCBI News he performed a number of duties including Senior Reporter, Weekend Anchor, and ending his time as the station's Primary morning and Noon Anchor. Paulo earned his Bachelor's Degree in Broadcasting from Mississippi State University and is proud to be a Bull Dawg. He is a Texas native born in Corpus Christi but raised in San Antonio. After being away from the Lone Star State for almost 18 years, Paulo made his way back home. He has spent over a decade as a journalist and enjoys bringing the community he serves the best in breaking news and the stories that impact those around him.

Tuesday, October 13, 2020: Early voting starts in the Texas elections. It will continue until Friday, October 30. Please check back for more information about polling locations.
Friday, October 30, 2020: Last day for early voting.
Tuesday, November 3, 2020: Election Day. Polls open 7 am to 7 pm.
